FEET (FREE EARLY EDUCATION FOR TWO YEAR OLDS)
FEET is funded from Surrey Early Years for up to 15 hours of free early education and childcare per week for families who meet the criteria. Children are funded from the start of the school term after their second birthday; you can apply the term before your child's second birthday, but the funding won't start until the term after they turn two.
15 HOURS (FREE EARLY ENTITLEMENT)
The term after your child turns three, they become eligible to receive ‘Free Early Education’ for up to 15 hours a week for 38 weeks a year.
Parents can choose how to use their free entitlement within our session times if available, but if a child attends for more than the maximum funded entitlement of 15 hours a week and parents/carers are not eligible for the 30 hours free entitlement, any additional hours are charged at £5.20 per hour.
30 HOURS (FREE EARLY ENTITLEMENT)
Working families can now apply for an additional 15 hours free entitlement, in total receiving 30 hours free early education and childcare per week. If parents/carers are eligible, they will receive the funding the term after the child turns three.
Parent/Carers will need to apply for the 30 hours free entitlement themselves through the website below. Once an application is approved, parents/carers will be given a code. This code will need to be given to Gillian Luck or Susannah Townley who will then give parents/carers the relevant forms to complete.
